Prepared glass slides, ready to use, for Enterobius vermicularis detection.
E. vermicularis is a small parasitic nematode of man popularly known as oxyurium or pinworm.
Causes the intestinal disease known as oxiuriasis or enterobiasis. The diagnosis in the laboratory of the presence of pinworms is made by the recovery of the eggs of the perianal area by using the Graham Test and its subsequent microscopic identification. Samples should be collected for 3 consecutive days to be representative.
What is the Graham Safe & Clean?
It is a system composed of three glass slides with adhesive tape, ready for use, included in a plastic box that protects
them during transportation. It also includes a device (cap) of plastic material, flexible and smooth, which is attached
to one end of the slide to facilitate the taking of the sample.
